Camberwell Sunday Market

Last Sunday (eh semalam la), me and my dear friend Nadia went to Sunday Market at Camberwell, one most vintage collectors should visit if you come to Melbourne!

Selalu I pegi ngan hubby dia malas jer nak stop every stall (tau la kan lelaki ni...tme kita nak pilih-pilih baju tu mula buat muka) pastu akan tanya "Dah ke..?...dah ke?" Pastu jalan laju je "menonong". So senang gi ngan member pompuan yang satu kepala so you'll have ample time shopping.

Camberwell Sunday Market ni bukak every Sunday (dah nama pon Sunday Market kan), open from 7 a.m to 12.30 p.m. If you're lucky, last minute shopping giving more marked down price. Ada sampai satu baju AUD 1 ko! Lelong lelong gitu......time lagi 15 minit nak tutup tu la korang le bargain ngan owner kedai kan.

And if you're really lucky, you'll hop and find a treasure of designer range!! Tapi mata harus tajam dan pandai pilih (so memang la bawak orang lelaki not a good idea unless dia mmang kaki shopping) ;p Like my friend Nadia, she's got Sonia Rykiel Metallic Pump for only AUD 18!!!

Vintage brooches and jewelleries pon banyak. Tips is jalan-jalan view dulu sambil tanya harga. Seller ni ada yang mahal ada yang murah. You don't want to regret your purchase if you buy something that you feel the price reasonable but there're others that could give you more great price!

So those, who come to Melbourne and plan to visit in future, don't forget to go to Camberwell Sunday Market.

I knew this girl from her previous myspace shop. Feels like wanna steal her brain. She's so creative creating her own t-shirt line, Devotee by Millie. Then I saw her selling the t-shirt at Bijou Baazar back in J'eumpa D'ramo Bangsar. At that time, dia tak da kat kedai, her sis jaga. But I spotted her design! Now she pursuing her future in UK.

And every month, she will make this some kind of fashion haul video about her buys. Once, I'd requested for Boyfy Blazer trend in UK. And she included in this month vidz.

I nampak...eh nama aku ke? We never meet each other (online buddy) but she did mention and remind me for the request I made long time ago. heheh...thanks Babe!!! I suka blazer u..!!

Ni yg buat I rasa nak pegi UK coz the price very cheapo (kalau convert tu mahal la kan but still cheap kot).

Neway Millie, thanks for remind me again. Yes, I did find my "boyfy blazer" without any cost! Haha...

This why we called "you never know there's always a treasure in your closet". I found my old blazer or I say my first blazer I bought when I started my 2nd job. It's a M size. But since I'm getting "smaller" cewah..budget kurus tp lagi kurus Along Undefine Me la! I'm wearing S now!!

I wore this during my sis konvo. Yer la, nak masuk dewan kene pkai rasmi kan. Nak pkai baju kurung punya la malas so I opt for other alternative....this blazer saviour of the day!!! yeay! Tak kene keluar duit utk pkai satu hari. ahaksss

YOUTH'09

Me, Julie and Nadia had joined Creative Mafia @ YOUTH'09 on last 9-11th Jan. It's a great event, though not a "great crowd" for us.

But thanks to the Management of Bijou esp. Maryam and Dedek for taking a good care of s during the event. I was inform that all the fault coming from the Secretariate of YOUTH'09 itself.

This is due to some traders..(not some but loads) has been put at top of Mezzanine floor which there're much of crowd not knowning we're exist!! OMG! Korang tgk backgroud gambar aku ngan Julie kat atas je dah tau mcm mana kan.

Mmg jer kurang org kat spot kitaorg.

But 2nd day Dedek asked us to move downstairs. Selamba la kan. We thought to move to Hall 1 which had a bigger crowd. Siap insiden berebut tempat between me, Julie and other traders. Bayangkan la...tu pon sempit tak hengat.

But when we back to our old place, some traders made a move to downstairs beside escalator. Of course, we're moved too! Kat atas mmg jer takda org. I blame YOUTH'09 for that. That time, I saw the CEO of YOUTH, Joel (he the winner of The Firm S1). Masa tu mcm nak komplen tapi dh bz dok angkat meja.

Even some ppl from Bijou pon did help us.

2nd day biz much more ok compare to previous day. OK. The crowd noticed us but the music from battle of the band distracted our surrounding. Mmg kalau nak ckp ngan customer tu kdg2 mcm nak menjerit pon ada kan. Tapi takpe...syukur rezeki ada. :)

Sapa nak beli kasut nih? Saya jual RM 160 for both. Amik 2 sekali gus. Kalau beli satu lain harga...ceeh...sempat promote u'ols!!

I love the Lomo parts. Though I love on how creative people thinking. One of the wall yg menarik perhatian sy during the event. Lepas ni nak bli lomo cam lah!!!

We were starving smpi berhutang ngan Julie amik cupcakes dia. Mcm every hour pon nak!! "Julie, aku amik cupcakes, nanti aku byr eyh....?" heheheh

While Nadia promoting Julie cupcakes, Julie did the same thing on Nadia's Tie Rack collection. See..we were helping each other. ;P The weird thing during the event, everytime one of us not around, ade bende yg terjual. Like I'm not around, my stuff sold. Same goes to Julie and Nadia. Pelik kan?

Shook came to support us. OK. PROMO: Sapa mau berkenalan ngan mamat nih, bole bg no phone kat sy. Masih single dan sedang mencari. Mempunyai ciri-ciri yg dimahukan oleh bakal mak mertua, sopan santun..Haha..kulit dia putih melepak u'ols..! Mcm ayam kene stim....hahahah jgn marah Shook!

This couple are so cute. The gf wanna buy the shoes but she can't make a decision whether to buy or not. So they had bf-gf talk, in front of our booth! At last, she bought la after we heard...

Kemuncak YOUTh'9 adalah konsert. Masa nih dh dkt kol 8. We all tak stay memandangkan sgt penat and esok nak kerja. Tak silap time nih Love Me Butch tgh perform. Ada Bunkface sumer.

Well...habis sudah cerita YOUTH'09. Thanks to kawan-kawan yg dtg bg support and those customer yg singgah and beli. Thanks sgt2! Kami sayang anda!!!

Malaysia Save Sale (MSS) atau Jualan Jimat Malaysia sudah bermula...!



I don't understand why they called it "Jualan Jimat" as when people spending their money in shopping, the word "jimat" or "saving" are no longer appropriate. Maybe they mean for the price of item la...muarh! Tapi last year nyer YES pon sama jer. So...aku tak da la bersetuju sgt namanya Jualan Jimat.

Kalau dh belanja tak da namaya jimat. I think word "boros" lagi sesuai! Hahahah

The MSS lauched by Dato' Azalina Othman Said. Sadly, masa tu saya br kuar dr cinema masa bunga api thg meletop.

So I had a "blast" day for my birthday.

The BF treated me at Tony Roma's for buka puasa Friday day. We had fun that night. Nuff said. The present I got? Tunggu.....

On Saturday, I went to Valiram Warehouse Sale with Jules. Semangat btol Si Julie sbb kol 9.30 am aku dh terpacak dkt Pavilion sbb nak g this sales kat Grand Millenium Hotel. Jules was looking for a new watch and yes! she got it but not in that sales. Masa kami p, tak rmai sgt so bole la "mencuci mata" dgn selesa.

The sales turned us down. Mahal giler dowh! Al-mkalumlah...kami nih remaja muda mudi yg hanya berpendapatan sederhana bukan bole pakai jam puloh-puloh ribu segala! Then the handbags? Bnyk la jugak Coach tp sumer out of season. *dah nama pon warehouse sales kan??* ahah...dah tu harga just 30% off jer from outlet. Baik tgu outlet sales tak pon bli online butik jer. Then before korang masuk, u just tinggal ur handbag without safe kat luar. Tak da mcm L'oreal sales ada org jaga kan? Siap letak no. Ni tak..main letak atas meja.

And siap ada sorang pompuan nih argue lagi ngn one of sales person yg jaga kat situ. Her handbag is Genuine Leather and white. Tak tau la brand aper. Tak sempat mak nak jeling. Dia takut handbang dia yg genuine leather tu tercalar bagai la kan. Mcm la handbag aku tak genuine leather ker? Ada aku peduli ker care kat handbag aku kat luar? I bet org yg pkai LV ke Gucci pon selamba jer letak kat situ...harh..har..har..opsssss!!

Sy hampi terbeli sehelai tudung Shanghai Tang yg berharga RM141 tp Jules kata tak worth it la for tudung. Cotton biasa jer but the texture lembut and corak lawa. Hurrm...btol gak kan? Baik bli Tie Rack..hehhe

Dipendekkan citer, kami straight ke Pavi utk cr Julie nyer watch. Last-last makcik nih bli DKNY. Hadiah besday dr Pak Su dia kata nya di top up dgn duit sdri. Skrg kalau shopping kat Parkson, each RM120 yg kite spend dpt voucher RM10 so Jules is near to RM50 voucher. What we do? WE? Kami pon mencari "sesuatu" utk di top up supaya dpt voucher tuh..hehe Well, I did buy something from Parkson. Treatment utk diri sdri for birthday la konon nya. ehhee..then we went to Jaspal. Ada further markdown!!! Matilah tgk handbag sumer kan? Last-last Jules did asked for her birthday pressie, she want a handbag..apa lg. Terpaksa la aku n Nadia blikan *walaupon Nadia tak da* main ckp thru phone jer nk mintak approval Nadia...hoohoh And...jgn tak tau, I got a same handbag with Julie for my birthday. dari Nadia n Julie..ekkek. Now, me n Jules got same purse and handbag!!

After that, we went to Bijou Bazaar at Menara Hap Seng. yes..BB were having 3 weeks in row for their bazaar. Meet other traders : Jezmine, Qilahlala, Yuyu, Shasha and Dilla Whimsy *tp adik..tak sempat tegur u..masa tu bf u jer yg jaga* I bought a vintage blouse for RM 7.50 jer! Time ni tak shopping bnyk sgt @ BB sbb dh shopping habis kat Pavi kan. This week ada lagi. Jom kite p ramaia-ramai!!!

That Saturday night, I had my seafood dinner at Umbai! Went with my BF and bro to meet my parents there...weehee...mkn seafood! Hmabik ko segala bagai seafood aku mkn, ikan siakap sweet sour, kupang sambal, sotong goreng tepung, butter prawn and ikan pari bakar bersambal. I only didin't eat that Lala masak sambal. Haiyoo....dah le mlm before aku melantak Skewed Shrimp kat Tony Roma's bkn seekor, berekor-ekor. Maka...

besok nya perut sy "meletop" la kan? Kne diarrhoea yg sgt teruk...smpi aku dehydrated. Memeula aku tahan jer pose. Sbb kunun nyer nak buka puasa dgn INF kat Rasta. Semangat nih smpi msg K.Lynnz and Dayat tny map. Then masa tgh gosok baju tuh...*we've to wear baju kurung* sy dh start pening. pastu masa berdiri tuh...asal la mcm dunia nih half-gelap jer. Sy tau time tu mesti sy nak "black-out" kire fainted kalau sy tak baring. Kang x der org nak sambut aku pengsan selain osmet aku. Tros tglkan iron board and baring kat katil..lemah giler bdn sy time tuh! Apa lg...dgn daya yg ada..maka tepat 3.30 ptg sy buka pose...tsk..tsk.....tak kurang 4 jam jer nak berbuka tp nk selamatkan diri, tak kisah la. I miss buka puasa with INF..huhuh

Itulah al-kisahnya 1 hari selepas birthday say. Haih...agaknyer perut terkejut kot terlalu bnyk "menerima" seafood. This Friday, ada buka pose department pon nak mkn seafood gak. I'm thinking twice nak pergi ke tak. Phobia aku dibuatnyer...

I had gr8 weekend at Bijou Bazaar! Met new friends there. Swapping business cards. Guess who show up at BB? Dynas and Awal ok! She got flawless skin yao! Awal as usual dress up metro. He wore white belt. I like!

Old duties...Money in...money out (of cos out more la)

Watched The Dark Night with Nadia on Sat mid nite, habis pukul 3 lebey ok! Fantabulous! I love Joker! I love Christian Bale sexy lip (esp. with his Bat's suit and what's wrong with his voice?) but I hate the Bat's Car. Please do make a sleek and shiny car next time rather than car which look like a kereta kebal.

Went to DnP Season Clearance with Nadia (again) at Bangsar Village (Karen Millen.Dorothy Perkins,Warehouse,Principle,MIss Selfridge,Diva)

I jz got 3 necklaces from Diva and top from Miss Selfridge for my sis.

Stores in Pavi are doing FURTHER REDUCTION!

ZARA,AX,Tangs,even MBMJ (gosh..i shud buy later),CK..

peliknya...saya tiada nafsu.

I almost bought ZARA wedges (a perfect black one) last night..but looking at the queue that time, I jz put the wedges back (heck..its RM129.90 from RM329 and it fits my 37 size!).

Julie : Tak jadi beli ker?

Me : Tak..org ramai. (They jz open 1 counter...ape kes?)

I had enough shopping this month.

And I should fasting in August. One month ahead from Ramadhan.

Of course fasting for shopping lah.....

Meanwhile, have you read Saiful Bukhari Blog? I don't know if it's a scam created by someone whom anti / support but you guys should read it. Esp. the people comments.

I had a burst yet blast weekend at Bijou Bazaar. *Well..actually we (Self,Nadia and Julie and...my sis)* Penat! Tapi puas. Yer. Puas menjual..puas bershopping and we met some friendly traders and "neighbours". I must say those who didn't come you'd missed a great "summer" event!

Well, since its a bazaar (with everything you'll wish) and I dug pile of clothes, of cos yours pocket would have a lil damage. Not more than RM100 for a cool Hollister blue jacket, a retro black blouse, a pink cardi, Atmosphere green handbag, MNG sleeveless + tshirt, vintage pendant, an art necklace and pin brooch! w00ttt...w00tttt!

Of cos, we did well by sold our stuff also. Money in, money out.

Call we cheapskate if you want, but hey...there're Datin and Puan Sri joined us.
