I bet most of us already knew the news. Yes. Its two of MISC vessels been hijacked by pirates in Teluk Aden, Somalia. Somalia adalah salah satu negara termiskin selain Afrika. They seem desparate to get money. But this not first time the hijacking happened. Loads actually. Cuma kali ini, terkena our National ships. Dua pulak tu!
They hijacked MV Bunga Melati 2 and later after 10 days, its time for MV Bunga Melati 5. Both are chemical tankers whom brought palm oil. A million tonnes cost million dollars. There're Malaysians and Philipinos incl. captain in both vessels. Kesian kan?
I heard semua family gather at our HQ office nak tahu perkembangan and in the briefing, diaorg janji utk try bebaskan all tawanan dlm masa 30-40 days lagi. After rundingan selesai. Heard the pirates asked for RM 10 mil. Not a lil money btw.
As one of employee, I'm in deepest sympathy to all the crew family members. But I'm sure The Management will doing something good for sake of their employee.
For the time being, the government will not intrudes in any issues on "money".
Lets pray for the best.... ;-) Mari kita sama-sama doakan keselamatan krew-krew dan kapten yang terlibat.
Oh..btw, ships have gender you know. They are "ladies"/perempuan. Means call as "her".

Happy!
Nampak isu di bawah tidak akan berpanjangan apabila Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim dlm kenyataan nya pada media supaya isu 10% kuota dihentikan. *Nampak sgt bkn isu populis tapi isu politik*.
Semalam juga berita gembira bagi peminjam PTPTN. Pihak Pengurusan PTPTN telah menurunkan kadar caj pentabiran dari 3% kepada 1%. Alhamdulillah...tak da la terbeban sgt kan?

It was an open contest for Mine blog readers and my last minute preparation *kunun jer* and tadaaa...I'm among of 20 winners! Thanks a lot Mine!! Sayang you! And that's means gr8 coz we could gossiping, exchanging tips etc. There'll also personalized skin & haircare consultation from Kiehls' staff!
But the problem is, I don't have any outfit which match the event's theme.
The theme : Red, White, Black and Polka-Dot.
I have GAP white blouse, a red GUESS high heels and my black handbag. But polka-dot? I should find a polka-dot tudung am I? But where?
Hurrm....any idea?

Hak Bumiputera Adalah Untuk Bumiputera
Gambar dari Utusan MalaysiaLebih 5,000 pelajar UiTM berarak untuk menghantar memorandum bantahan kpd Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim selepas beliau mengeluarkan cadangan agar UiTM dibuka kepada bukan Bumiputera sebanyak 10%.
Bagi saya, Tan Sri Khalid *seperti tidak layak digelar Tan Sri* tidak patut langsung mempertikaikan Perkara 153 Perlembagaan Persekutuan yg memihak kepada kaum dan bangsa sendiri. Adakah beliau boleh digelar Pengkhianat Bangsa?
Walaupon saya bukan graduan UiTM, tapi pengalaman di universiti swasta / private university sudah banyak mengajar saya bahawa hak Bumiputera/Melayu harus dipertahankan. Saya anggarkan universiti saya terdiri tidak sampai 30% golongan Bumiputera. Oleh itu, UiTM adalah satu-satunya institusi harapan bagi melahirkan golongan professional dari kalangan Bumiputera.
Tapi mengapa Bumiputera harus "menindas" kaum sendiri. Walaupon 10% bukanlah kadar yg banyak tetapi, kita mungkin sudah biasa dengan peribahasa "Sudah diberi betis, mahu peha". Peratusan mungkin akan meningkat dari tahun ke tahun atas pemintaan.
Lagi satu, siapa Khalid Ibrahim untuk menentukan kuota UiTM diberi pada siapa? Di hanya seorang Menteri Besar yg ingin mendapatkan suaka politik dari kaum lain. Atau dia sendiri telah didesak Pakatan Rakyat (PKR, DAP, PAS) demi masa depan kerjaya belia? PM sendiri pun tidak ada hak untuk menentukan kuota. Semua itu terpulang kpd pihak Pengurusan UiTM sendiri. Saya yakin, YDP Agong sebagai Canselor UiTM mampu melakukan sesuatu untuk menyelamatkan apa yg terkandung dalam Perkara 153 Perlembagaan Persekutuan.

Smart People Are Not Always Smart
You heard that don't you?
Baru-baru ini, negara digemparkan dengan berita tentang pelajar bijak, Sufiah Yusof yg sewaktu ketika dahulu memasuki Oxford pada umur 12 tahun menjadi "hooker" pada umurnya 23 tahun sekarang untuk menyara hidup. Yer...12 tahun maksud Oxford! And Yes...she's being a hooker! *Aku dah 23 pon blom jejak Oxford lagi* She doing Math at that time. I bet every Malaysia masa tu mmg proud habis ada budak bijak mcm tu.
We read it in Berita Harian and Utusan but have you read her at News of the World?? This might be shame but this is the truth! Here I post the link of News of the World. Well..it's kinda 18SX but hey....it's being public now. So korang boleh la menilai..

Yes...it's a long time ago. I don't remember his name but he was in all news at that time and I did remember our respective Prof. DiRaja Ungku Aziz adopted him at that time. And guess what happen to him when he grew up? He's being a drug addict and enter the rehab centre and Prof. Ungku Aziz had chased him from his house. Last time I read at Mastika, he being a "penebar roti canai"!!
Ironic huh? That's make us afraid to some of "gifted" child. They have the brain, but that's not mean the really "have" it. What happen to Nur Amalina? The 19A who made through to UK? Gempak jugak la time tuh tapi sorry dik.....ada orang dah lawan ko dgn 21A. Amalina being a columnist in one of our local newspaper if I'm not mistaken coz I read her story but it's no longer now. How's she? Last time she was at local college in UK preparing for Oxford and rumours said she not even pass the test to Oxford. I hope she not end herself like Sufiah. Let's pray!!
And one boy who made through UNISEL at the age of 9, Adi Putra. I don't understand why his parents are so not appreciated what govern has made. Dah betul la tuh kerajaan menyiapkan segala pakar untuk development Adi Putra dari segi pelajaran, sosial dan persekitaran nya. Until his parents decided to took him out of Islamic International School in Gombak and let him stay at house. Alasan? Otak Adi Putra tak sesuai dgn budak-budak sekelas. Kalau yer pon budak tu dah terlalu pandai, tak payah test utk UPSR, cuba test PMR ke SPM skali! Tengok bole tak dapat straight A's? Kalau boleh memang hebat and hantar tros gi Oxford! Hissh...geram aku dgn org yg kurang mengenang budi nih. But at least tak pe la, UNISEL dah offer kan? Naper uni lain tak offer huh? UKM ke..or we had our most best uni, UM?? Dan kalau yer pon dia terer Math and Fizik, kita ada best technology university, UTM. Kenapa korang rasa? Sbb mengambil Adi Putra hanya la satu "nama" atau salah satu marketing product! Yer...Adi Putra adalah marketing product! Think: mak ayah mana tak nak masukkan anak anak diaorg kat universiti yg dlm tu ada budak paling bijak dalam Malaysia??
Let's see the development of Adi Putra who are not yet being a "guy" socialize with 18 above students. Has he absorbs the "girl" things story or can he lepak with the boys? Think parents of Adi..think! Walau sebijak mana pon dia, walau sebagus mana pon dia....dia masih seorang budak yang berumur 9 tahun! Yang mungkin kadar sosial nya hanya pada rakan sebaya nya.
Kita lihat... dan selamat menilai!!

Post-Election 12
Semua orang masih memperkatakannya. *Kat opis aku org tak habis lagi ckp pasal politik*
Kita sudah tahu keputusannya. Buat kesekian kali nya (selepas kekalahan teruk Parti Perikatan 1969)...kerajaan BN hanya menang mudah utk memerintah daripada mendapat majoriti 2/3 dgn hanya 140 kerusi.

Walauapapun saya tetap bergembira kerana saya telah menunaikan tanggungjawab untuk memilih siapa pemimpin saya. Bagi saya, pemimpin BN harus bermuhasabah dan bertanggungjawab dalam perkara ini. Ini masanya untuk buka mata dan analisa faktor-faktor kekalahan yang saya fikir semua orang tahu sebabnya.
4 negeri sudah berada di tangan barisan alternatif. Jika di nanti lagi 5 tahun, mungkin satu Malaysia akan merasa pemerintah pembangkang. Itu target saya jika pemimpin kita masih ditakuk lama.

2 days to go before 12th Malaysia's Polling Day. I'll be back to my hometown tomorrow. Yeah..the excitement of 1st time polling still can be under control. Tho I'm quiet nervous who will be our next govern. With all the rumours and facts that some of us might received through email lately. About "behind the story" of certain parties. And of course, this would being factors that might effect and influenced voters and their mindset in choosing the leaders. Result might change, who knows. I just want to say, to our current government, don't be to comfortable with the current zone. Yes, we're on the right track but who knows, the train may be slip.

And I loved the slogan of "Menuju Negara Kebajikan". It's good to be charitable country but are we really wanna be a "Father Christmas"???. What will happen if too much money giving to those who are eligible but they have the energy to look for money likewise they being so lazy to work? THINK!

It impressed me. With the subsidize of petrol will incresae and say no-no to high flour/cooking oil/chicken etc prices. Still, are they able to bare the cost occur? Seems the world oil prices reached USD100 rather than back to the "ex-TPM" ruled where the world oil price are 25% lower. Is that we can called more "subsidize? THINK!

Pilihan Raya ke-12 Malaysia
Everyone knew about it (I bet!) and waiting for it (I guess?). Parliament has been dissolved on our PM's fav no : 13th February. And each party being given 2 weeks for campaign. The Big day of GE (General Election) will be on 8th March 2008 right after the nomination on 5th.
I'll not involving myself in the campaign since I'm in Klang and my polling session at my hometown. I already knew who I'm choosing. Been living and raised in Malaysia made me so much praise and grateful with all the development and support from government. Still, I enjoy myself with all the rules and resolution in term of dressing and entertainment. We're free to go anywhere here, in Malaysia.
Those who already knowing me all this time would know which side I was. Walaupon sy bukan peraih undi mahupun tukang pasang bedera tetapi sy tetap memilih "parti" itu. It's ancestral.

When Minister in Vidz
2008 started with a controversy.
I bet that everybody knew about the "hot video" of our Health Minister and MCA Vice-President with his "personal pal". No..I don't want to comments the moral value of that Minister. He already dropped from his duty as Minister and resigned all of his posts in goverment and party posts.
As minister, he done his job as a matter of the resignation. Simple words : He don't want to be burden to others.
As a human, he already apologized to his family, friends and supporters and most important, they're accepted.
He's doing what I could say it's right for himself even tho it might be shame to you after what u've done in the video.
Thus, I should say that we have to aware of what are we doing and be alert of CCTV when you make a mind to stay at hotel!
I just wondering, does there's only this kind of vidz out there? C'mon guys....most of us knew it. It's NOT.

Walaupon sesetegah org kata dia bkn angkasawan....dia hanyalah "participant".Yes, he's a participant of Expedition 16. Ia merupakan perjanjian timbal balik antara Malaysia dan Russia atas pembelian pesawat Sukhoi.
Walaupon ada sesetegah org kata dia hanya melancong di angkasa. Org tidak tahu bagaimana susah nya dia bersaing dgn berbelas ribu yg lain dr segi ketahanan fizikal dan mental utk sampai ke tahap ini.
As Malaysian (and a woman of course!) , I'm proud to have a guy and a MALAYSIAN who brave to put all his machoness outer the space.
I'm sure loads of girls and women waiting for him to arrive at Malaysia...

Walaupon sesetegah org kata dia bkn angkasawan....dia hanyalah "participant".Yes, he's a participant of Expedition 16. Ia merupakan perjanjian timbal balik antara Malaysia dan Russia atas pembelian pesawat Sukhoi.
Walaupon ada sesetegah org kata dia hanya melancong di angkasa. Org tidak tahu bagaimana susah nya dia bersaing dgn berbelas ribu yg lain dr segi ketahanan fizikal dan mental utk sampai ke tahap ini.
As Malaysian (and a woman of course!) , I'm proud to have a guy and a MALAYSIAN who brave to put all his machoness outer the space.
I'm sure loads of girls and women waiting for him to arrive at Malaysia...
And I'm thinking to go to Restoran Rebung after this...hehehehhe

I turned 23! Syukur....Alhamdulillah. Tuhan masih panjangkan umur saya untuk bernaung di bawah limpah dan kurniaan Nya tanpa sebarang masalah dan penyakit. 23 years living in a peaceful country of Malaysia, having such a wonderful people around me and the unexpected career developement and achievement. *Well, I never thought being hired after not-that-well-performed in study or CGPA* but...Alhamdulillah. The BAD :
The mystery of a murdered girl who found in a sport's bag in PJ released. It confirmed the body belongs to Nurin Jazlin Jazimin (picture below) who missing a month ago. The respective police said that the body of Nurin is based on DNA test by pediatrician.
What happen to the world now? A cute and naive kid being murdered by those who eligible we can call "A Beast". What an innocent child who left her family in this Ramadhan and hoping to be with her celebrating this coming Hari Raya. Even the parents who can't accept the fact that the body was Nurin based on her physical but I believed we can't deny the truth of science. Science was in Islam past of century and it stated in Al-Quran the relationship between science and human created by Allah (Read Surah Yassin). May all the legal action will be taken to those who made it. Allah knew what's the best for her and may her body will rest in Peace. We shall pray that there'll be NO other kids having the same faith as her.

She's been missing nearly a month (since 2oth August). I saw her poster in PLUS Highway last week. Every party is increased their effort in searching her and the reward money has been raised up as to bring her home for this coming Hari Raya. Thanks God that the girl who found being murdered and put in a bag was not her anymore. (What a mean ppl right now!) As a human being, let us dedicate our prayers to her that she could be found very soon! Btw, for your info, she suffers from high blood and kidney problem. We should pray for her good.....Amin.

Does it mean the election's bell ringing?
Seperti yg kita ketahui, 2 hari lepas keraajan telah mengumumkan kenaikan gaji kpd kakitangan awam seluruh Malaysia di antara 7.5 - 35%. Satu kenaikan yg boleh dikatakan terbaik dlm sejarah perkhidmatan awam. Selain kenaikan gaji pokok, Elaun Kos sara Hidup (COLA) juga dinaikkan 100%! Satu berita gembira bg mereka yg bekerja dgn kerajaan.
Melalui "kenaikan terbaik" ini, adakah dijangka pilihan raya tidak lama lagi? As fas as Pak Lah said "Kenaikan gaji tidak ada kene mengena dgn pilihan raya....". Yes...he's maybe right. Sbb jika dilihat, pemberian kenaikan gaji krn ekonomi Malaysia yg semakin kukuh. Our ringgit is getting higher...sehingga hari ini USD 1 = RM 3.38. Satu pencapaian yg agak membanggakan.
Still, agenda pilihan raya menjadi faktor utama...rasa nye la. We never know...Pak Lah did something good in his year. Malaysian will remember him for "exchanging" their life.
And me...if the election is running on time, this is my first year to elects the goverment :)

Jalankan tanggungjawab anda sebagai rakyat Malaysia yg Cemerlang, Gemilang dan Terbilang.
